Check-in is from 15:00 and check out is before 10:00. Early check-in may be possible, but you will need to confirm with our reservation staff in advance.

Yes, you can but after 19:00hrs you will need to get to your property by yourselves as we are unable to offer complimentary pickups from the Hakuba Train Station or Happo Bus Stop.

Our properties are either accessed by electronic locks or coded door panels which will be emailed to you after your reservations have been confirmed.

Yes, we have luggage storage facilities, you will need to contact Ski Japan Holidays in advance & request.

Yes, free Wi-Fi connection is available in all our properties. Please see the compendium in your chalet or apartment for passwords.

All our guest properties are non-smoking. Please smoke outside of the building, ashtrays are provided.

We offer the following amenities to our guests’ shampoo, conditioner, body soap, liquid hand soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, tissues, dish washing liquid, dishwasher powder, coffee plunger, kitchen towels, kitchen sponge, and garbage bags.
To be more environmentally friendly, we do not provide toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps, cotton swabs, or nightwear. Hair dryers are provided in each bathroom. No edible items such as oil and seasonings are provided either. We do provide tea and coffee satchels, as well as salt and pepper. -
Approximately 100 meters to the Sakka Quad Chair Lift. You cannot ski to the lift, but with enough snow you can ski directly back to the building.

There is car parking onsite but space is limited. Please let us know and we will arrange space for you.

Yes, in almost all cases. However, a handful of the smaller, local restaurants still only accept cash, so it is advisable to always try to have some cash on hand. Provided you have an ATM card allowing international withdrawals, there are several ATMs you can withdraw cash from, 24 hours a day.

As Hakuba is a big valley with 10 different ski resorts having your own vehicle is certainly helpful. There are shuttle buses which service all the ski resorts, but by using your own vehicle you will have much more freedom.

If you wish to drive a rental car in Japan, you must possess an international drivers permit and your countries driver’s license without both you cannot drive legally in Japan. For further information about driving in Japan please see the Japanese Embassy’s website in your country or the consulate.

Japan enforces a 0 tolerance for drink driving and those who are caught drink driving the penalties are very harsh.

As we are in the mountains with roads which are often icy and covered in snow 4WD cars with winter snow tires are necessary. Many roads in Hakuba cannot be accessed by 2WD cars during the snowy winter months. A 4WD with snow tires is necessary for the Alpine Azumi, as it can be a slippery icy road up and down from the property.

Yes, driving your own vehicle is fine. If it is not a 4WD with snow tires, then we stringently recommend you purchase snow chains before you come as you will need them. It would be advisable to arrange these before you come, as even though they sell chains at hardware stores and gasoline stations in Hakuba they may not have the specific size to fit your vehicle.

The bus stop is less than a 2-minute walk from the Alpine Azumi apartments. These are inside the car park at the Sakka ski area on Happo. Free ski shuttles can be taken to access ski resorts throughout the Hakuba Valley, also these will allow you to have easy access to the restaurants, bars and cafes (for the details for each property, please check the bus timetable maps located in your property) In addition, we offer pick up and drop off service from and to the train station/bus terminal in Hakuba at check-in/out as well as rides to the supermarkets for grocery shopping during your stay, so it is possible to get around in Hakuba without a car. We are also happy to help you arrange taxis.

Yes, Japan has a very effective luggage courier system which is fast and reliable. When sending your luggage, please enter the name of the guest booked with us. It is essential to identify your luggage and pre-arrange to deliver it to your accommodation.

Yes, there are luggage courier transfer slips in your apartment, you will need to fill in your details and contact our office to arrange payment and collection.

For customers that are not coming by car, we offer complementary pick up and drop off service from and to the Hakuba Train Station or the Happo Bus Terminal. (If you are coming from or going to a different place in Hakuba, please inquire with our Ski Japan Holidays office.

We have daily rubbish removal and lite cleaning. Towels are changed every 3 days along with toilet and bathroom cleaning. After 7 nights stay, we arrange a full apartment clean.

We do but these need to be requested at the time of the booking, as we have limited numbers of these.

Handheld fireworks can be used outside the property, which do not make too much noise. Please make sure you collect the rubbish after using them and dispose of these into the rubbish. Enjoying fireworks after 21:00 hrs. is prohibited by regulation of the Hakuba Village Office and the agreements we have with our neighboring properties.

We do not offer BBQs at our property or have BBQ equipment.

We have 3 supermarkets in Hakuba: A-Coop, The BIG, and Delicia are 5 to 7 mins away from the center of Happo One by car. We arrange complimentary supermarket runs and can be booked in through our concierge team.

Yes, there is a Lawson that is a 15-minute walk from the property.

We do not provide any meals at the properties, as these are fully self-contained deluxe apartments which have everything you need to arrange your own meals. All kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, and cutlery are provided. The kitchen at our property is fully equipped with modern appliances.
We can also arrange private in-house catering if you would like but will require advance notice of at least 48 hours to make the arrangements.

North and South of Alpine Azumi there are rental outlets each within a 100-meter walk. The Central Snowsports rental store is inside the Koharu building up the road on the right side of the road and Spicy rentals is 100 meters walk down the Wadano road on the same side. Each has several stores throughout the Hakuba area and can arrange pick up and drop off vehicle transfers if they are contacted in advance.
